Description of Event: For sexual Assault Awareness month, SAFE In Hunterdon hosts a "Survivors Poetry Slam."  This is a safe space for Survivors and their allies to share their stories, for the community to hear what victims and survivors had to endure and how they are championing despite all they have faced. This event is also a time to educate the community about how prevalent sexual violence is and how they can do their part in supporting a survivor.

Additional Information: 

I am requesting survivors that are open to telling their stories and sharing their experiences navigating life after an assault in an open space. There are no preferences for age or gender.
