Paid study on Black men’s romantic relationship experiences

Description of Event: Research study on Black men’s romantic relationship experiences, especially relationship conflict, and aggression. 

Where:  (via zoom, phone, or in-person, depending on their location and preference).

When: July-August 2023

In-person or Remote: Both

Additional Information: The University of Tennessee IRB has approved this study. Study is based on black men aged 22 or older who have experienced conflict within their romantic relationships currently or in the last 5 years. Black men meeting the study eligibility criteria will participate in interviews lasting up to 90 minutes, although we expect it to last an average of 60 minutes. At the end of the interview, participants will receive a $25 Amazon or Walmart gift card along with resources for Black men experiencing conflict and aggression in romantic relationships.

Additional InformationJuly 19th would be a great class day for us to have a speaker, but if that doesn’t work, can try for another day. Anyone above 18 years of age would be great. Male or female is fine. However, most  students are female and between the ages of 25 – 50, so a female in that age range might be more applicable to them.
