RAINN Teams Up with Netflix on Limited Series Unbelievable

RAINN and Netflix have teamed up on Unbelievable, an eight-part limited series released last week and inspired by the true events of a serial rape case in Colorado and Washington State. The series depicts what it’s like for many survivors who choose to report sexual violence and the difficulty of receiving a rape kit and repeatedly describing an assault. Unbelievable focuses on how the first response a survivor hears after disclosing can encourage people to continue to pursue healing and find justice.

RAINN Partners with Lyft to Create a Culture of Safety and Respect

RAINN today announced a partnership with Lyft to help them hold drivers and riders accountable for maintaining a culture of safety. RAINN’s consulting services team will work with Lyft to create mandatory Community Safety Education for drivers, strengthen community guidelines, and develop trainings for Lyft team members, riders and drivers. Lyft will also make a donation to support RAINN’s victim service, public education, and public policy programs.

RAINN Partners with Twilio.org for Crisis Response and Prevention Initiative

Today RAINN announced its partnership with Twilio, the leading cloud communications platform. Twilio’s social impact arm, Twilio.org, launched its Crisis Response and Prevention Initiative. As part of the initiative, along with funding, Twilio.org established the Crisis Response Technology Network (CRTN), of which RAINN will be a member, intended to help nonprofits develop communications technology to serve individuals and communities in times of crisis.
