Those looking to support critical sexual assault prevention and response programs can join a network of volunteer supporters from across the country who are passionate about helping survivors of sexual violence.

RAINN has joined with actor and producer David Schwimmer, the Ad Council, and writer and director Sigal Avin to launch a sexual harassment awareness and prevention campaign.

As the leading authority on sexual violence, RAINN is comprised of experts in victim services, education and communications, public policy, and technology.

With the renewed focus on sexual violence in the news, a record number of survivors turned to RAINN for help. In November alone, RAINN saw a 26 percent increase in hotline traffic, with our victim service programs helping an average of 673 survivors each day. Helping survivors is a year-round effort.

From October 2 to January 12, 2017, you can choose RAINN as the charity that receives donations directly from your paycheck through your employer’s CFC campaign. RAINN’s CFC code is 10488.

RAINN’s annual Lace Up for RAINN 5K event went off without a hitch, raising more than $60,000 for critical sexual assault services. 

Every April, the country recognizes Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month (#SAAPM) to bring increased attention to these crimes and the ways communities can work together to prevent them.
