From wins such as the passage of the Debbie Smith Act to the fight against rising challenges such as AI Assisted Sexual Abuse, RAINN works tirelessly to create and defend laws that help prevent sexual violence and provide assistance to survivors.

Together, we will urge lawmakers and citizens to come together and advocate for every individual’s right to safety and justice.

What We're Working On

RAINN creates and fights for policy pathways that help survivors access critical services after sexual assault, and pursue avenues of justice and healing. Together, we make communities safer through legislation that invests in the rights of survivors and the protection of the most vulnerable.

We tackle the toughest threats: from stopping the spread of child sexual abuse material, to eradicating victim-blaming laws that shelter predators; from protecting patients from abuse under medical care, to holding institutions accountable in the new frontier of AI-assisted sexual abuse. RAINN is in the room, fighting for survivors.
