Additional Information: They are a children's advocacy center hosting their annual reception and meeting for those closest to and most supportive of their organization. They would appreciate hearing from a survivor who has received services from a Children's Advocacy Center. They believe hearing from a survivor will greatly impact their community and will lead to a better understanding of the dynamics of child abuse. They hope our audience will walk away educated, empathic, and inspired to further help our community.

Description of Event: We plan to run a summer program for high school students, Surgery,Trauma & Emergency Medicine-Injury Prevention which will combine some instruction in the medical sciences and surgical techniques with training on preventing injury and trauma.
