RAINN National Sexual Assault Hotline: 30 Years of Hope On July 27, 1994, RAINN answered the first call to the National Sexual Assault Hotline. Since then, we have supported nearly 5 million survivors and their loved ones. As we commemorate 30 years of hard work and hope, we also acknowledge the progress that remains—and we call on people everywhere to join us.
