RAINN Day (April 8, 2021) is an annual way for college students across the country to speak out about sexual violence and raise awareness on this pervasive issue. This year, as many college events once again are virtual due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are hosting a special planning webinar—“Won’t Stay Quiet: Planning for RAINN Day Virtually”— to help our campus partners make their events as successful as possible.
With Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month 2021 fast approaching, learn how you can make the most of your virtual RAINN Day events this year. In this free webinar, participants will find out more about RAINN Day, why raising awareness of sexual assault resources is important, discuss ideas and tips for making your event successful, and how to host successful virtual RAINN Day events and activities while being safe.
“Won’t Stay Quiet: Planning for RAINN Day Virtually” will take place on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at 7 p.m. EST/4 p.m. PT via Zoom.
Students participating in the webinar can also earn a certificate from RAINN proving their leadership experience in planning events for sexual assault awareness and prevention, which is perfect for displaying on professional sites like LinkedIn. While this webinar is created for student leaders, organizations and campus faculty & staff are welcome to attend.
RSVP here to register for the event. By signing up for “Won’t Stay Quiet: Planning for RAINN Day Virtually,” you will receive the Zoom link and information for the virtual event, as well as email reminders leading up to the event.
