Additional Victims to Testify in Cosby Trial

RAINN celebrates the decision to let five more victims testify against Bill Cosby in his upcoming trial. The judge issued this decision after the District Attorney filed a request that mirrored an amicus brief written by RAINN asking the court to allow additional testimony. The ruling ensures that evidence will be presented to demonstrate a pattern of behavior by Cosby as he faces retrial for the sexual assault of Andrea Constand. This case may have never come to light if not for the courageous decision of survivors to step forward and tell their story, and their testimony should be heard. RAINN thanks Hogan Lovells for their support, and the organizations that joined RAINN's brief: End Violence Against Women International, the National Center for Victims of Crime, and the National Crime Victims Law Institute.
