USA Network Joins RAINN in the Fight Against Sexual Violence

Viewers of the #1 cable channel, USA Network, are now being connected with the help they deserve thanks to a new public service campaign for the National Sexual Assault Hotline. The campaign features two public service announcements by actors Callie Thorne and Mehcad Brooke from USA’s hit show Necessary Roughness.

The campaign aims to help survivors of sexual violence take the first steps towards recovery with RAINN. Thorne and Brooke encourage viewers to contact the National Sexual Assault Hotline via phone (800-656-HOPE) or online chat (online.rainn.org), saying “If this has happened to you or someone you love, it’s not too late to get help.” Since 1994, more than 1.7 million people have been helped through the hotlines.

The campaign is a partnership between USA Network’s Characters Unite program and RAINN. To learn more about the campaign and the issue of sexual violence, visit: http://www.charactersunite.com/issues/violence
