#GivingTuesday, a Time of Hope at RAINN

#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving that occurs on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving—this year on Dec. 1. It’s a moment when individuals and organizations join together to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity and assist causes near and dear to them.

At RAINN, #GivingTuesday is a celebration of hope—especially this year. In 2020, RAINN has seen the number of survivors and their loved ones reaching out to get help through our phone and chat hotlines skyrocket. Thanks to a generous donor who is offering to match all gifts up to $20,000, this #GivingTuesday is a chance for our community to make twice the difference in helping ensure that RAINN can continue supporting every survivor who reaches out.

As part of the RAINN community, please join us this #GivingTuesday by giving a gift of any size and sharing why you support RAINN as your charity of choice this year.

"I support RAINN’s vital work because they bring hope and healing to survivors of sexual violence today, and every day,” said Tori Amos, survivor, longtime supporter, and RAINN #GivingTuesday ambassador. “Now more than ever, we must come together to ensure that help is available, in the moment it’s needed most.”

Here are three simple ways you can participate this #GivingTuesday:
