Amy Hirotaka
Director of State Legislative Affairs
Amy Hirotaka brings 15 years of experience working with mission-driven organizations to change policies and impact lives. Her work is shaped by a deep background advocating for gender equity, criminal justice reform, and access to education.
Prior to joining RAINN, Amy managed policy and advocacy strategies for a range of nonprofits. She earned a bachelor’s degree from New York University, and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Washington Evans School of Public Policy and Governance.
She currently serves as board treasurer for Isan Bellevue, a small nonprofit honoring the history and resilience of the local Japanese American community. Amy lives in Seattle with her family.
