Wrapping Up

Redefining Resilience: Lesson 8: Wrap up your healing journey with tools, support, and a personal resilience plan designed to empower survivors of child sexual abuse.

You have now reached the end of the content series. Participating in this series may not have been an easy decision, but we hope that you now have additional tools to assist with your healing journey.

Remember, responses to trauma look different for everyone and there is no right way or wrong way to heal. You deserve support, encouragement, and love.

As we talked about in lesson 1, resilience is a powerful attribute embodied by survivors. In order to tie all of your new skills together, we invite you to create your own resilience plan.

This plan will help you create coping strategies and reminders as you decide the next steps on your path.

If you feel that you are in need of additional support, we again strongly encourage you to reach out to a licensed mental health professional.

We also encourage you to reach out to the National Sexual Assault Hotline for crisis support. We are here 24/7, 365 days a year for you.
