RAINN Supports EVERYONE Impacted by Sexual Violence
Survivors don’t just need someone to listen. They need someone who knows what to say.
RAINN’s National Sexual Assault Hotline provides free, confidential, 24/7 support to survivors of sexual violence and their loved ones.
- Talk, chat, or text with trained support specialists who understand trauma
- Get referrals to local counseling, legal services, and advocacy organizations
- Obtain guidance on reporting, healing, and online safety
RAINN Prioritizes Public Education
We develop accessible, trauma-informed content to help parents, students, educators, and communities:
- Understand what CSAM is
- Recognize warning signs of sexual abuse and assault
- Learn how to respond with care and urgency
- Stay informed about the role of technology in modern exploitation
Redefining Resilience:
RAINN’s Learning Series for Survivors of Child Sexual Abuse
A healing learning series that helps survivors of Child Sexual Assault understand trauma, move past shame, disclose to loved ones, manage memories, and form trusting intimate relationships.

RAINN Advocates for Stronger Laws
Technology evolves fast—but our laws don’t have to lag behind. State and federal lawmakers must act aggressively to protect children and prosecute offenders.
RAINN works with lawmakers on both sides of the aisle to modernize child protection laws and close legal loopholes exploited by abusers.
Our CSAM legislative priorities include:
- Expanding the federal definition of CSAM to include synthetic, AI-generated, and manipulated content
- Criminalizing the creation and distribution of nonconsensual manipulated intimate material, especially when it targets minors
- Increasing funding for Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task forces
- Supporting legislation like the TAKE IT DOWN Act
- Developing federal reporting, enforcement, and takedown standards across platforms
RAINN’s objectives are clear: to prevent sexual violence, support survivors, and ensure that no one faces the impact of abuse alone.
